Online license codes are good for 365 days after purchase.

You can log in to access the course information for 5 years from the completion date.

No, you must register as a new user with a unique username; you may use the same email address again.

Yes. Log in to Lifeloc University to access your Certificate of Completion.

Most courses require recertification or a recurrent course to stay compliant. See your certificate for the expiration date or information on DOT requirements.

Yes, per DOT guidance, you must complete all portions within a 30-day window.

You may request a final exam reset by emailing training@lifeloc.com. Retaking the final exam will open a new 30-day window. You must retake the course in full if you completed the course over 90 days ago and have not completed your live hands-on session.

Twice. You must retake the full course after two exam resets and/or after 90 days have passed since online course completion.

  • BAT and CLOCT certificates are valid for 5 years from the date of certification
  • Provisional Instructor certificates are valid for 2 years from the date of certification.
  • Certified Urine Specimen Collector certificates are valid for 5 years from the date of certification.
  • Reasonable Suspicion for Supervisors FAA requires recurrent training annually.

*if the certification type is not listed, there is no Lifeloc or DOT requirement for recertification, however it is generally recommended to take recurrent training every 2 years due to changes to DOT regulations

Yes. To calibrate a Lifeloc EBT, the individual must be CLOCT certified by an authorized instructor. Please refer to the Lifeloc Quality Assurance Plan and DOT 49 CFR Part 40.233 for requirements.

BAT Recertification requires the same process as the initial certification, including the DOT BAT Procedural course and live hands-on mock testing on the device you will be using. Contact your previous instructor or Lifeloc directly to register.

Provisional Instructor Certification must be renewed within 90 days of expiration via a written exam. There is a $50 renewal fee. Exams are sent to the email on file 14 days prior to expiration.

Yes. You may request a duplicate copy of a Lifeloc CLOCT or Lifeloc Provisional Instructor certificate in writing at training@lifeloc.com. A $15 fee is applicable.

All refunds must be initiated within 7 days of the invoice. Refund requests are not approved if the course has been started. Contact a Lifeloc Representative at 303-431-9500 for assistance.

Yes. Courses may be reassigned to another employee at no charge if they have not been started. If a BAT or Urine Collector online procedural course has been started, a reassignment fee of $125 per course is applicable. You may request reassignment in writing at MasterTrainer@lifeloc.com

Live sessions are typically booked out 2 weeks in advance; however, it is typical for a sooner date to become available due to reschedules & cancellations.

Yes. All live session confirmation emails have a rescheduling link. You may reschedule your session at no charge up to 48hrs before your scheduled time.

We ask that you complete the course in full within 60 days of the invoice. You may request a 30-day extension in writing by contacting your Master Trainer.

Yes, Lifeloc offers training 100% online for the best time and cost efficiency.

Contact your IT department to ensure all firewalls are set to allow access to outside websites and webcam streaming.

No, all BAT training must be completed using 3-part carbonless DOT Forms. You may not use copies of DOT forms or Non-DOT forms for mock testing. You can purchase DOT Forms on the Lifeloc Shopping Cart.

Yes, Lifeloc provides a Urine Specimen Mock Testing Kit with all Certified Urine Specimen Collector certification purchases. Additional Urine Specimen Mock Testing Kits can be ordered for an additional cost, if needed.
